PEAK Connections Goes Virtual!
TAMPA, FL (November 5, 2002) – PEAK Connections, Inc.,
announced today they are taking their job fairs to the Internet
starting January 12, 2003. Pamela Kauten, President of PEAK
Connections, Inc., is the pioneer for coordinating successful
job fairs in the Tampa Bay market since 1994 and has partnered
with media giants such as The Tampa Tribune and Clear Channel
(formerly Jacor Broadcasting). Ms. Kauten states, “This
is a wonderful opportunity for employers and job seekers.
Employers will not get sore feet interviewing job seekers all
day and job seekers don’t have to worry about what they are
wearing to attend the job fair or take time off from their
current job. This event will be accessible from their computer
desktops. It makes perfect sense to take our job fair expertise
and coordinate that with our successful LOCAL job website,
Florida CareerLINK. We have been offering job seekers access
to the area’s most comprehensive database of job openings for
the past five years.”
PEAK Connections will be coordinating four virtual job fairs
next year that will last three weeks each and will be promoted
by print, billboards and radio advertising. Job seekers will
be able to watch informative video profiles by LOCAL employers
describing their company and why the job seeker should become a
part of it. Job seekers will also be able to research,
immediately apply to and attend a virtual tour of the
participating employers.
