CareerLINK to Give Away $5000 to One Lucky Tampa Bay Job Seeker in the
3rd Annual “I WANT $5000 in Cash and Get A JOB” Contest
Clearwater, FL (January 9, 2006)
Tampa Bay area job seekers and employees looking to change careers in
2006 have added incentive to get their resumes out to local employers.
FloridaCareerLINK, the area’s leading recruitment services provider, is
giving them a chance to win $5000 in cash just for posting their resume
or updating an existing one on the www.floridacareerlink.com web site from now until February 11.
“Most of us resolve to change something about our lives at the start of
each new year,” said Pam Kauten, President of PEAK Connections, Inc.,
Florida CareerLINK’s parent company. “This contest helps motivate
people to freshen up their resumes and explore the possibility of a new
job or career change by posting them on the Florida CareerLINK web
site. One lucky person will get a $5000 income boost this year just for
making that effort!”
The “I WANT $5000 In Cash and Get A JOB”
Contest officially began January 8. On February 17, the Grand Prize
Winner will be chosen by a random drawing from all entries received by
time of drawing. The winner does not need to be present to win and will
be notified within two days of the drawing.
To promote the contest, FloridaCareerLINK has launched an
outdoor advertising campaign on fourteen highly visible billboards
throughout Tampa Bay and a print campaign in the Weekly Planet.
Would-be contestants can also learn about the contest via frequent
messages on local radio stations 93 WFLZ (93.3 FM) and 98 ROCK (97.9
FM). The promotion will continue for the next three weeks.
